Who we are

Ballet Concierto of Puerto Rico is a 501c non-profit organization established in 1978 by an initiative of the former Teachers Association in bringing together the most outstanding students of the dance academies of the time. In 1979, under the appointed artistic direction of Lolita San Miguel, Ballet Concierto developed as a company where the most talented dancers of Puerto Rico were able to enrich their artistic abilities and develop a professional career in the art of classical dance. Ballet Concierto was artistically directed by Mr. Carlos Cabrera, who was also a principal dancer of the Company.
